NHS Scotland Event 2018 – Call For Posters Now Open
11th January 2018
This year’s NHS Scotland Event is being held on 18 and 19 June at the Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow. The theme of this year’s Event is ‘Delivering Now, Improving for the Future’.
One of the key features at the Event is the poster exhibition and with over 500 innovative teams and individuals submitting their projects in 2017, this is a networking opportunity not to be missed.
The NHS Scotland Poster Exhibition forms an integral part of best practice, learning and sharing at the Event. Entries will be shortlisted and over 200 successful abstract submitters will be invited to display a poster at this year’s Event.
Poster abstracts should showcase examples of how your work is taking forward the priority areas identified for action in our journey towards 2020 and beyond.
Submissions are welcome from NHS Scotland employees, our voluntary and partner organisations, and other public or private sector organisations on any aspect of work they are undertaking in, with or on behalf of NHS Scotland.
This is a great opportunity to raise awareness of your project, gain recognition, share best practice and make new contacts within NHS Scotland.
The Call for Posters Guide can be found in the Posters section of the website and contains information on the process for submitting an abstract, as well as details on all the poster categories.
The posters will be judged at the Event and there will be a winner in each category as well as a winner of the People’s Choice Poster Award to be voted for by the delegates at the Event.
There will also be a Transformational Change Award which will recognise work that is transforming the way care is provided in Scotland. If poster authors want their abstract to be considered for this award, please ensure this is fully illustrated in the abstract.
The posters will be judged at the Event and a winner will be selected in each poster category, including the Transformational Change Award and the People’s Choice Poster Award. Winners will be announced during the final Plenary Session on 19 June 2018.
Please also view the Poster FAQs which will help to answer any queries you may have in relation to the poster process.
