What to expect at the event

The poster exhibition at this year's NHSScotland Event will showcase over 200 posters which delegates will be able to view throughout the two days.

To acknowledge the incredible standard of posters there will also be a number of specifically designed opportunities for poster authors to present their work and for delegates to learn more from their quality improvement successes.

This year's Event will include the following activities:

Facilitated Poster Presentations

The Facilitated Poster Presentations will feature as part of the main Event as a programmed activity. Poster Authors are asked to note that participation in the Facilitated Poster Presentations does not impact on the judging process.

Poster Judging and Winners

All posters will be judged at the Event and a winner will be selected in each poster category, including the Transformational Change Award and the People’s Choice Poster Award.  Posters will be judged on the content displayed in the poster and not with any engagement with Poster Authors.  Therefore, Poster Authors are not informed of when posters are being judged or the identity of the category judges.  The People’s Choice Poster Award will be voted for by delegates attending the Event.  All poster winners will be announced at the Event and the judging decisions taken are final.

Poster Awards Presentation

The winning posters and the People’s Choice Poster will be announced during a special Poster Awards Presentation which will be held on Day Two of the Event during the Final Plenary Session.

People's Choice Poster Award

All attendees of the NHSScotland Event will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite poster in the exhibition.

The poster that receives the most votes will be announced along with the winning posters for each of the poster categories during the Poster Awards Presentation which will be held during on Day Two.

Voting will take place using voting postcards which will be distributed at the Event.
